From the tiny 34mm watch with 18mm lugs (Seamaster &#8220;De Ville&#8221; even existed) to the latest Seamaster James Bond, from the mythical 165.024 watches prized by collectors to the Omega Chronostop also declined as a Seamaster, the models are numerous and all iconic. Omega&#8217;s range dedicated to the sea, the Seamaster collection is a perfect match for the nautical identity of Avel and Men. But <b>which bracelet should you choose for your Seamaster<\/b>? Depending on the model, its year and your style, the answer may vary. This guide gives you a better understanding of what kind of watch strap best suits your Seamaster and <b>how to change it<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Omega Seamaster: different straps for different models<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Launched in 1948 to celebrate <b>Omega&#8217;s 100th anniversary<\/b>, the Seamaster quickly became a watchmaking reference, particularly thanks to the performance of its diver models. Its name was not chosen at random. From the start, this master of the seas is equipped with an <b>exceptional water-resistance<\/b> compared to the standards of the time. The use of a <b>special thoric seal<\/b> located at the level of the crown made this possible.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Today, the Seamaster is still among the most popular models offered by Omega, along with the <b>Speedmaster<\/b>. Not only do these models still appeal, but some of them even continue to increase in value. With its military-inspired design, helium valve that allows it to remain water-resistant to 50 meters, even if accidentally opened underwater, and METAS-certified Master Chronometer movement, it is equipped with a <b>metal or integrated rubber strap<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Planet Ocean<\/span><\/b><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">: launched in 2005, the Planet Ocean range is available in 45.5mm (chronograph), 43.5mm and 39.5mm. It features a ceramic dial and bezel with a <b>water-resistant leather strap<\/b> or <b>rubber strap with antibacterial treatment<\/b>.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><b><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Heritage&nbsp;Models<\/span><\/b><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">: vintage-inspired models featuring Omega&#8217;s greatest successes and lesser-known models. These include Seamasters with numerous complications or specials such as the Seamaster 300 in bronze or the Seamaster Olympic Games collection with its <b>microperforated leather strap<\/b> in the colors of the Olympic rings.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">How to choose a strap for an Omega Seamaster? <\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Choosing a new wristband for a Seamaster is always a fascinating experience as there are always new combinations to be found. Nevertheless, the exercise is usually <b>relatively easy<\/b> and you should be able to do it <b>with a simple strap removal tool<\/b> such as Bergeon 6767F. You will then be able to easily handle <b>all types of spring bars<\/b>, regardless of their brand.<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">To avoid any risk of scratching, it is possible to use a small piece of <b>adhesive tape<\/b> or a simple piece of flexible plastic (like the one that covers the glass of a new watch).<\/span><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Protect the horns with tape (optional). <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Remove the first side of the pin with the thinner side of the tool, and then repeat on the other side. <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Take advantage of having a bare watch head for cleaning it. <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Place one pin in the slot of the strap provided for this purpose. <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Place one end in the corresponding hole of the watch horn.<\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Use the tool again to place the other end in the opposite hole: the first half of the bracelet is attached to your Seamaster! <\/span><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Repeat on the other side: the strap of your Omega Seamaster is changed and it is ready to sail to new horizons! <\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><i><span lang=\"en-us\" xml:lang=\"en-us\">Looking for a bracelet for your Omega Seamaster?
